Things have been crazy this last week. I’ve been participating in Camp NaNoWriMo, so I’ve been trying to write as much as possible. While it has delayed the editing of episode 1 of Shadow Stalker a bit, it’s helping me to get ahead so that I’ll have a better chance of reaching my goal of releasing one episode a month once I start publishing them. I hoping to publish episode 1 in early August.
My total word count for Camp NaNoWriMo is 6501 (as of this writing) and I have 16 days to write the remaining 9499. I’m pretty sure I’ll reach that goal this month. I hope I do. It will be the first time I win a NaNoWriMo event, so it will be extremely exciting for me.
If you haven’t done so already, please help me in raising some funds for Camp NaNoWriMo. I’m hoping to raise $250 by the end of July. So even if you can only donate a dollar or two, it will go a long way in helping them to continue the great work that they do.
The cover for Shadow Stalker is currently being designed. I’ve seen a draft copy and I was so happy with it. I’m pretty sure you will love it as much as I do. It depicts a scene that has been written in episode 2. I will be adding it to the site as soon as it’s finished and I’ll be giving my subscribers a bit of info and maybe even a sneak peek at the scene being depicted.
Speaking of episode 2. I finished writing it today! So that’s another episode written and waiting for editing. I’ll be starting on episode 3 tomorrow and I will have that one finished as well before the end of the month. Then I can get back to editing! 😀
I’m also starting work on my novel, The Four, again this month. I will talk more about that one in the coming months. It has been in the planning stages for a while now, but I’m ready to start writing. I hope to have that one ready for publishing within the next year.
That’s all the updates I have for you for now. I’ll be publishing another flash fiction story on the blog next week, so keep an eye out for that!
