It’s been a crazy month. My daughter was on school holidays, which messed with my whole writing schedule. I really need to work out a schedule for those times so I don’t end up getting behind. At least I’m not too behind, though.
I’m still in the process of editing Episode 8 of Shadow Stalker. It’s still with my editor, actually, so the release for that one is being moved back a week. I’m also in the process of editing Episode 9, which is still due to be released on time at the end of May. Episode 10 is already written and I’ll be starting the editing on that soon as well. So I’m still working on getting ahead. In fact, I should be finished writing all the episodes for Part 2 by the end of May, and then it will just be a matter of getting everything edited. Then I’ll be able to start working on Part 3 long before any of those episodes are due to be released. It will be nice to be a few months ahead of the game.
I’ve also started work on the Savior of the Serpent Isles Series. My first job with that is writing down all the facts from the episodes I’ve written, so I don’t start mixing things up. Then I have to make a timeline. Once that’s done I can work in all the other point of view characters’ stories and start on the outline. I’m estimating that I’ll be able to start writing the first novel in June, and it should only take about a month to write. So I’m hoping to release it somewhere around September or October of this year. These are estimated guesses at this point, though. It could take longer depending on how long the editing takes and getting the cover done (which I’m hoping to be able to hire a professional for).
If I’m lucky I’ll be able to release the second novel in the series before the end of the year as well. 😀
