During the meeting with experts specializing in the protection of the environment with particular emphasis on water resources, they presented the current “security” of the Polish water supply and what the future holds.

Specialists also summarized the state’s flood and drought relief efforts.

During the conference “Water security of the country” prepared by the Polish Earth Foundation, it was also explained how to take care of the resources of the vital component of our planet.

The speakers explained what is the water security of the country and what are the activities aimed at securing water in Poland.

In addition, scientists have presented solutions that will serve man and the planet.

Among such actions the issue of hydro-technical installation in Siarzewo was raised, which has recently heated up the public opinion.

As explained by one of the speakers, Dr. Grzegorz Chocian, in Poland, unfortunately, very often we are guided by emotions instead of facts.

It was the same with the installation in Siarzewo. According to the speaker there is no mass ‘concreting of rivers’ in Poland and our rivers in no way resemble those in Asia.

An extremely important topic, which was devoted to a separate theme was drought, with which we regularly have problems.
